olive wood boards?
« on: July 31, 2013, 16:21:26 PM »
Hello
I have been planning on buying an olive wood board and thought I would wait and try and buy one while I am on holiday. I haven't seen any or anything like it. Does anyone know if there is anywhere that sells them?
Thank you

A large chopping board, preferably round round or oval.

We bought one of those round boards that the pancake ladies use with the short legs and a little handle. They come in different sizes to suit. We like it so much we brought one home. There's a hole in the end of the handle stump so I can hang it up when not in use. They're for sale in the markets. We got ours from the Man in a van by the canal outside the Tuesday market. Can't remember price, but very cheap too.

We lived in Turkey for 6 years Lotty, & in all that time, I never ever came across a pancake lady "with short legs", never mind having a handle !!    ;) ;D

They do come in different sizes though, "to suit".
