I'm not mean but I do find that the fragrance lasts a lot longer if I break a tart into several pieces and just burn a bit.  I had been burning whole ones and the gorgeous whiff didn't seem to last that long. Wedding Day my favourite.

Also good to break difference fragrances and burn them together.  My favourite is "Natures Paintbrush" which is normally only available in Autumn and Winter.
Toky, agree about burning candles in the bathroom, had to stop after tiles had to be throughly cleaned and ceiling re-painted   :(

Sue you are right, Yankee Candle say the tarts give good fragrance for eight hours, I would say quite a bit longer but I do the same as you and add pieces each use.

Am I the only one who has never heard of yankee candles and who thought a tart warmer was an oven?  :)

Just so you lads know what we are talking about:

They are called tarts because of their similarity to a baked tart!  And here is a burner, you put a lighted tea light candle in the bottom and the tart in the top, it melts and gives off a lovely fragrance.

Buy some for the lady in your life, I'm sure she will be delighted.  :)

Every time I visit UK I bring a lot of tarts sorry melts and the votive candles back with me, burning citrus sage at the moment. I have a special Yankee Candle shelf in my wardrobe, smells divine.
