I just think that it is absolutely appalling that the BBC can be so insensitive/negligent in having this on their BBC Scotland news page.

The "Death sparks cyber-blackmail probe" headline refers to the tragedy of a yound lad "falling" to his death from the Forth Road Bridge.

The way I read the story in another newspaper was in fact that he was threatened with being blackmailed over a 'set up' skype conversation with a girl.

I am beginning to suspect that it is indeed me which is why I didn't say more in the initial post.

It wasn't the article itself. It was the fact that they used the picture that they did under Features & Analysis directly opposite it
