Now I know that Thanksgiving is a group of plucky Brit Ex-Pats celebrating their first year or so since arriving in a foriegn land, but once again good old U S of A culture has taken over or perhaps dominated something that the Brits were doing well enough with out them

Look at how Halloween is now bigger in many parts of the country than Bonfire Night, and by the looks of this THanksgiving is starting to creep into our calendar as a celebratory event as well. Or perhaps that's what the retailers and restauranters want :

Well even though the Brits, or rather the English, invented it, we should look upon it as a gift that we bestowed upon the septics for them to enjoy forever, and lets encourage them to keep the gift their side of the water, and we'll carry on ignoring it.
