Coming Back again in August !!!!!

Hi all,
Hope you are all keeping well,
After having a break from Calis Beach last year (we went t
o Kalkan) we have decided to come back this year
we missed calis too much and wish we had gone last year as well instead of going to kalkan.
So we are coming back in August and we are staying at the Oykun.
There is me my hubby and 2 boys who are 21 and 18, my youngest is called Elliott and has special needs
so anyone who has been there the last few years during august may remember him.

Cant wait to come back to the place we have fallen in love with, Is there anything new/different about Calis?

Welcome back Tessa - didn't you like Kalkan?  We almost went there a few years ago but had to cancel and went to Calis instead - no regrets here, I love the place.

We did like it but having a son with Autism and behavioural problems he hated the hills, the beach was lovely also but Elliott is having none of it and wants to come back to Calis so we are lol and cant wait....

I love Kalkan but at most only for a couple of days. It's too 'boutique holiday perfect' but the magic runs out fairly quickly. Calis offers so much more, plus there is the fabulous 'working' town of Fethiye to enjoy. Everywhere is easily within reach? You can still visit Kalkan/ Kas for the odd day or two trip as we always do and love. Bluewise, I totally see why you made your choice.

I love Kalkan, but it would be for my kids either. If the kids aren't happy, then it's not a holiday for anyone!

i remember elliott such a lovely person.we stayed at the oykun as well when you were there

we had a couple of days in Kalkan last year, very pretty but not for me, I didn't like the tiny little beach, or the hills!! Much more expensive as well. we wished afterwards we had gone to Kas.

we too found it was a lot more expensive than Calis and there wasn't all that much to do at least with calis we can go to olu deniz and fethiye and Elliott liked the little water park and the boat trips x
