Holiday Hit Squad BBC1

Two things particularly annoyed me about tonight's offering.

1. Stated more than once that it was best to change currency before flying. Not when flying to Turkey it ain't and

2. You can fly to Africa cheaply on Budget Airlines - NOT from Scotland you can't. And here is me once again thinking that it was the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation

  :)

On a more serious note, it seems to me that the standards across the BBC do seem to be on a slippery slope.

That having been said they do still produce very good investigative programmes.

Let's not forget the BBC regional programs.

BBC Look East are currently exposing a company called Prime Holiday Lettings which took me for £500 on a cottage in Aldeburgh.

This is the 30th time the director has gone into receivership!!!

H,

I have some sympathy for the BBC on currency - I believe in the majority of cases it is better to change money before you go - but not of course as we all know for Turkey.

By coincidence (?) they also did that piece on poor cleanliness at the hotel in Marmaris to help with the confusion.
