So far the weather hasn't been true to the forecast thankfully. Since we arrived late on Friday it's been brilliant sunshine in the morning with cloud later in the PM. Last evening as we were eating at the Eroz it rained for a few minutes and then by the time parasols were deployed and awnings lowered it stopped. It is still strange weather for the time of year but nothing like we expected I'm pleased to say. Of course we have just decided to go to the fish market this evening so it could pour!

During our 12 days in Calis, returning on the 10th June, we had two magnificent storms, one during the night, and one overcast day, the rest were mainly very hot and sunny until lunchtime then clouding over, but still very warm, with the sun coming out again later in the afternoon.  This was perfect weather for us, we were pool or beachside then off somewhere for a walk or lunch, then back in the sunshine later.  On the cloudy day we took the two dolmus rides to OluDeniz, the busses were crowded but it would have been worse it the sun had been shining.  Not to put too fine a point on it, some of the people had forgotten their deodorant!!
