My advise is not to scrimp.   We had ours renewed a couple of years ago and what a difference it made.  Previous to this we had just two solar panels and and we also had an emersion heater.
When we renewed we got three new solar panels.  Since this we have not had to use the water heater at all.  The water stays hot much longer.
Neither of us can remember how much it cost.  I seem to have a figure of 1,000TL to renew, but not really sure.
There are quite a few places on the Gunlukbasi road that sell these systems.

Paid 1400TL 3 months ago for the evacuated tube type (24 tubes) inc pressurised tank.  They are suppose to be more efficient than the flat panel type, although more expensive.

That was rather good.  Reminds me of the time two solar panels walked into a bar in Calis. The bartender asks "What can I get you?" and the solar panels say "Anything except a seat in the shade."

And then there was the time a solar panel was talking to a wind turbine. The solar panel says, "So what do you think about this whole renewable energy thing?" The turbine replies, "I'm a big fan."

Stoop that was fitted.  Only extra was for the heater element for the emersion, that cost about 70TL.  Used the guy opposite Homeprof, but I had the same quotes from a few places on the karachula road heading towards Fethiye.  Worth shopping around.
