Amazed at this guy, asked four times to condemn the I.R.A. bombing and would not.

Yes not a very convincing defence of his thoughts and actions on Ireland.  Then again perhaps no worse than Thatcher's on the mudering tyrants of Chile, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, to name but a few, and let's not forget her support for the brutal and violent South African Apartheid regime either

The IRA killed people and the British Army killed people. So did Ulster paramilitaries and the RUC. That's what happens in a civil war. Condemn all if you wish, but then move on with contributing to the construction of peace.
