Calis coach transfer
« on: June 19, 2016, 05:51:52 AM »
Hi all only 4 days and back to calis . We have always had a taxi transfer but on this occasion we have booked a Thomson package  which includes a coach transfer does anyone know if calis would be the last pick up before the airport when going home ? Don't want to spend hours on a coach on our last day. Any info appreciated thanks

Calis pick ups could cover a few hotels in Calis and then you have Koca Calis, Jiva Beach could be one. Then you could have Yaniklar, The Tuana and of course the Sensatori which is a Thomson's resort and may be a big pick up.   Not sure if Thomson's have any Hotels in Gocek.
No way of knowing how many pick ups you will have, but you can be sure you will not be going straight to the airport.
Go online and have a look at the Thomson's Hotels in the area, might give you an idea of how many stops you will have.

We stayed at the Oykun in May with a Thomson package and our coach transfer back to Dalaman was a minibus and went straight to the airport. Did not pick up anywhere else.

Mikeandpat,
You were lucky as it was probably a quieter time so less customers to transfer. Will be a little busier fit the return I suspect.

As Jacqui says all depends at the time, but I have to say I do not miss those coach journeys

Incorrect info here, you can't be sure whether you will be the last pick up, pure speculation from Her Maj I'm afraid. I got a Hoppa coach transfer back from the Area hotel (middle of Calis prom) last month, was the last collection so we actually went straight to the airport in perfect time for the flight.

Great Super Cabby, However, Kimmie is using Thomson's Transfers, not Hoppa.  We have used Thomson's in the past when we stayed at Letoonia and we were in a large coach and made many stops on the way back to the Airport.
Even on our journey to Letoonia, we stopped at the Golden Moon and the drive asked us all to get out and have a drink at the bar, as there would be a 20 minute wait.
So, Her Maj, is not giving incorrect information. As teeter seems to confirm too.
Not used Hoppa, we have a private transfer, well we are Royalty as you already concede and autographs or the other passengers are such a bother on shuttle buses.      ;) :-*

Kimmie, a lot will depend on where you are staying in Calis.  We've stayed a few times at the Oykun with Thomsons and been lucky.  We've either been the last pick up or had just one after us before the airport. If you are staying at the Mutlu or Club E then you'll probably have at least one other pick up before the airport but have never found it to be for too long, as long as people are ready and waiting for the transfer as they are asked to do. We've usually found Calis is one of the first off/last on points on the shuttles we've used.

If Jacqui was staying at the Letoonia then I can perhaps see why it was a long journey as it's much further out than the hotels in Calis, although I can't ever remember being asked, by either a Thomson shuttle or another company, to get off the bus and go and have a drink as there's a 20 minute wait!  :o

There's no definite answer to your question but can't say that we've ever had a problem and mikeandpat did ok in May and even Supacabby even though it was with Hoppa!   ;)
