Fingers crossed that  they will be ok,  we have flights booked for next June at a bargain price of £ 150 each return [ includes extra leg room seats  & 23 kg bags] no other airline i can find has or will have anything cheaper I don't think  from Gatwick

We are flying out to Dalaman on the 12th October (with Easyjet) and have a return booked for the 16th with Monarch hopefully....but it's really worrying.

Do we hope and pray that they manage to sort things out - and if they don't hope that alternative flight will be arranged?

Or do we play safe and book an alternative flight and suck up having to pay for two flights?

The signs are hopeful for Monarch - if it was me I'd probably simply go and enjoy my break.  If the worst happens, the CAA will be chartering aircraft to get folks home, as they allegedly did last week which as it turned out, weren't needed.

I suppose the decider for you personally could be that you must be back on the 16th, if they the CAA are bringing folks home it could be that it may be a day or two later.  But that's pure speculation, I honestly have no idea of the logistics in this scenario.

Britain needs Monarch.
I'd prefer if Britain was a republic.
