calis in april

Thinking of going to Calis in the middle of April does anyone know if there will be a good few restaurants open. And whats the weather like.

There are always restaurants open in April, more so if its after Easter.

Weather is usually pretty good but can be changeable.

I remember 1 year we had the heat on for the first few days of a 10 day Easter trip and the air con on for the last few nights!

Weather is unpredictable, you can get some warm sunny days but rain and showers can be quite commonplace. The days are still quite short and the nights are cold...

We went on 18th April a few years back and it was glorious.

Actually it was the 16th of April

I remember it well as there was a very scary lady in the queue at the gate  

As everyone has said, it's a mixed bag - some days amazing, some showery/stormy but even after a stormy day the next is often great and dries up all the puddles in no time. It's a lovely month in Calis - generally nice weather, not too hot, and the season is just starting to come into life.

April this year was fabulous, like June weather but without the humidity.

Then followed May and June with some balmy and unsettled days with rain in both months. Personally I loved that but not so great for sun seekers.

The weather gets more unpredictable every year.

Think we will give it a try.We were in Calis this year for six weeks, four weeks in May and two weeks in June and we found toward the end of the holiday it was getting a bit too hot for us. Don't really mind a little bit of rain now and again. Thanks for your help everyone.
