newbies needing help

Hello,
My name is Debs and I found this site whilst searching under Calis and couldnt believe my luck..what a great site!!
I have never been to Turkey as I've been a Grecophile as they say for many years and tend to go visiting a different island each year. BUT..I have to say I've heard some great things about Turkey and have contemplated going. Then recently someone told me about Calis and it sounded wonderful - hence me doing some research.
I'm saying hello first as recommended and then I hope to get some advice from the experts before me and my bloke Dave set off on our first holiday together

            Welcome to the CBF.You have certainly found a great site, there is so much help and information on here.I am sure if you like the Greek islands you will like Turkey.Calis is just about the right size resort and Fethiye is a lovely town.

Hi Debs, welcome to the forum.  We also started off as Grecofiles, until we discovered Turkey and ....that was history as they say !  you will love it.  But don't just stay in Calis, get some wheels or book some trips and get around and about - Turkey is fantastic - enjoy !
