I try to recycle anything I can.I am however aghast at the produce on sale in the fruit and vegetable sections in supermarkets,which are invariably packed in trays and plastic.Unfortunately,because our council will only accept plastic bottles etc,marked with a 1 or 2,loads of this packaging ends up in the bin for landfill.Why do they insist on wrapping fuit and veg in containers which are not recyclable?
