Hi everyone, At 00:40 this morning my housemate went to bed. Myself and my fiancee were watching a film on tv when i decided i wanted some ciggaretts from the 24/7 garage, so we NIPPED upstairs to put a jumper and coat on.
Whilst upstairs my fiancee heard a noise from downstairs and very quietly went to investigate. As he reached halfway down the stairs a man came out of the lounge, ran out of the door and up the street. (the door was unlocked because we were both awake and waiting for another housemate to come home).
We ventured into the lounge and discovered that:
My mobile
His mobile
My handbag which contained: Purse(money), Passport, Paperwork, bankcards etc etc etc had gone missing.
What kind of mindless thugs would come into someones house knowing full well we were awake and up and about and steal posessions of others.
Our only guess at the moment is they were watching the house to see when we went out of the room. Im only glad neither of us went downstairs sooner as it could have been alot more serious.
Just wanted to get that all of my chest as its now made me incredibly uneasy about living in my own home!!!!:-\
