I have just received an unsolicited email that claims to come from Apple and appears genuine. It invites me to "Surprise Mom with a personalized iPod". It certainly would surprise my mother; she died five years ago. Just as well it wasn't more recently, and that I was not still grieving. It might have upset me. What kind of short-sighted, dimwitted, spotty geeks do they employ in Apple's advertizing department? [Answer - short-sighted, dimwitted, and spotty]. I don't think I shall buying an iPod from Apple.
