I know Global warning is a hot topic at the moment but this is ridiculous.
As I lay in bed the other morning, the curtains were partly open and I could see out to the tree in the garden. Suddenly a bird flew ontot he tree with a bright red patch. Of course I sat bolt up right and shouted, look at this bird, when we looked properly it was a parrot sat in the silver birch in my garden. Looking perfectly at home and quite happy he sat for about 10 minutes in the tree.
Not quite up to the monkey story but a good contender!!
