We managed to get bacon in most places in Turkey many years ago. Is it really not available in Fethiey

For me there is one thing. I can't believe that all Turkish takeaways sell that crappy elephant's foot of a lump of dubious meat as their best effort.

A pide restaurant with proper pide oven, served with salad and bread made in said oven, would be a winner in the UK - there could quickly be one in every town  :)

But then I'm biased...
