The circumstances were as follows:
Flights cancelled for medical reasons, one hour before flight due to take off.
We had been through security and had boarding cards:
Paid for under insurance:
Holiday Flights
Hotel accommodation in Turkey
Travel: Return train journey Glasgow to Inverness.
Not allowed under insurance:
Administration Costs from Airline
Hotel Accommodation: Hotel Room to be used on our return from Turkey.
Emergency Car Travel: My son to Glasgow to take me home (essential)
Emergency Hotel Accommodation: One room for Brenda and one room for my son while I was detained overnight in hospital.
Completion of Medical Form.
Spectacles: Damaged beyond repair.
Incident: June 13 (a Friday as it happened)
Notification of Claim: June 30
Follow-up Letter: July 14
