Thanks for the heads up, what you get told by one person is not always right. Law changes all the time. It's good to know someone has done it.

lance john andlyn have bought a brand new car and they have not got full redsidency,car tax is expensive though

This morning I had checked out again at the Koycegiz Police whether I could buy a car with just a 3 month tourist visa.

The answer was NO!

But as we have a Tapu which is in my wifes name she can buy a car even though she is on a 3 month tourist visa.

She can insure it so that her family can also drive and that means her husband as well.

it is not a hassle at all to change the plate bin turkey if you spend extra 50 lira , they will do it for you in a day.
