I had the classic nightmare yesterday at Dalaman finding myself in the check in queue and OMG, no travel wallet with tickets and passport.
Eric having driven back to Uzumlu found it on the floor having fallen out of my bag.
Explained all to the Steelbird staff who said I had till 3pm,after speaking to the Captain, for the 3.20pm flight to Gatwick,so breaking all speed records Eric got it to the airport by 3.05pm. I ran to check in and they did it straight away, got me through passport control and through to the gate. Boarded at 3.15pm thinking I wonder where my case will end up.
Luckily the flight was delayed because of paperwork reasons.
Got off at Gatwick and 10 items later my case came through, phew...
Would just like to say a BIG thank you to all the staff who helped me. They mostly get stick for being miserable and unfriendly but in this instant they surpassed my expectations.
