I think even having £200m to spend is the kiss of death for a football manager. It isn't there to allow you to put a great team together. It's there to allow you to put a great team together NOW. Football isn't like that and having £5m to spend is in some ways better than £200m.

I feel very sorry for Hughes, and Mancini wouldn't have done any better if he had taken the job when Hughes did.
