hi,just got back from a fortnight in calis, been going for 5 years now several times a year so get to know bar and restaurant owners.with one guy in particular always being very friendly and as a result have eaten there several times, not anymore,my wife ordered a gin and separate orange, she does this as to make sure a full measure of gin is given.first gin very suspect but could not prove any thing as we had already mixed it,scond gin was a good measure but contained  no gin whatsoever, guy was full of apologies but tried to blame a young lad behind the bar who must have been all of 14 yrs old!despite the promise of a free meal on the house we will never set foot in the place again, how many others has he done this to?and to have this done to us by a"friend" is even more dissapointing

I take it that you do not want to divulge the name.

I was going to say the same thing H. If you wish to warn others of the scam tell us the name of the bar.

Makes the post entirely pointless. Please name the place or I'll just lock this as it serves no purpose at all.

The post is completely pointless unless the bar is named.  [?]

Glad you all agree, I'll lock this. If you want to name the bar you can start a new topic.
