Does anyone know if frankinsense oil is available to buy in the area? The genuine stuff of high quality that is?

I would be interested to know where you can get genuine oils. I bought some 'Patchouli' in a place in Fethiye, BIG mistake. Wont go back to that shop again.

Have you tried the little spice shop in the "everyday fruit and veg market" next to the Oztoklu Restaurant? He's got several hundred bottles of various essential oils on his shelves.

Do you know if they are good quality? I hasten to add it wasn't where I bought my 'Patchouli'.

We've bought several different kinds over the years from him and they all seem to be a reasonable quality for the price. In fact we've sold some his stuff on EBay in the past and never had any complaints.

His English isn't very good but Rukiye in the restaurant next door, or Tariq on the spice stall opposite called "Sisters", both speak good English and will help you find what you're looking for.
