There are a couple of families of goldfinches that patrol our back gardens. In the past they have mostly been congregating in my neighbour's garden two doors down. As playful rivalry I have been attempting to seduce them away from him and into my garden. As you can see I have had some success on this glorious autumn morning.

You've overdone your powers of seduction Colwyn.None of my nest boxes have been used this year,after me posting about previous successes.We're overun with Magpies this year,dozens of the b*ggers,and it's driven the smaller birds away.Nice photo.   :)
