I have no problem with this technology or ID cards, if you do nothing wrong then you don't have a problem.

However there is a paragraph in the above website which has confused me

What about individual human rights....I always make the bells ring at the airport, and I wouldn't want anyone putting me in a machine so they could view my wobbly bits !!  I think the best part is some one has a job title of  'Head of Customer experience'......wonderful !

you have entered the "twlight zone" and as Loz states if it can't be stored etc. another case of we in authority can do what we like and you the public will have to lump it.
