The only blue lights on motor bikes in the UK are to be treated with respect and avoided at all times if at all possible...... !

Blue led lights are ok in the UK, only a problem if they are over 5 watts each individual light source and flashing.

I have bought my dogs collars which have LED lights on them. They really show up at night when I am walking them.

Daffodil,

CHAV stands for Council Housed and Violent -- a really horrible term and most unrepresentative of a large portion of the UK who for whatever reason live in Council Provided Housing. :-\

Personally I hate it, I know many decent law abiding hard working people who live in Council Housing, particularly in London and the South East where housing costs are so high.

I grew up in a Council House, as did my Sister now a Multi Millionaire, another Sister now doing her PhD, a Brother who is now a retired Soldier in comfort in Wokingham, (seen what property costs there?), and I guess as a semi-retired Compnay Director I didn't do so bad either.  Would you refer to us as CHAV's?

Plenty of nasty violent people in private Housing!

However, that said, most people use it as a term for people of
chosen low intellect (the education was there but they chose not to take it!) and who display all sorts of tasteles ornamentation. You know, fluffy dice on the car mirror, huge gold chains, blue LED's on the windscreen washers  :)etc.

My nephew recently got a £60 fixed penalty notice for having blue lights fitted to his Renault Clio
