I have a problem i cant sort out everyone says its easy  but i cant do it.here goes egg heads .
On my google search drop down list of sites i have visited ,down the bottom of page there is clear history but i have to many on there and i cant scroll up anymore ,i have been told to download cc cleaner but thats 30 quid also press tools ,it says press ctrl +shift +delete but that wont work either any suggestions thanks.derrr ;)

How to Turn Off Google Toolbar History

Google Toolbar 5

   1. Open your web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
   2. On the toolbar (all the way to the right), click on the wrench icon
   3. Select Options:
   4. Select the tab labeled Search (if not already selected)
   5. Uncheck the box next to Store search history on my computer
   6. Optional: If you do not wish to have any search suggestions, uncheck the box next to Suggest searches as you type
   7. Click Save

Google Toolbar 4

   1. Open your web browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox)
   2. On the toolbar (all the way to the right), select Settings
   3. Select Options:
   4. Select the tab labeled Features (if not already selected)
   5. Click on Search Box Settings:
   6. Uncheck the box next to Suggest searches from my search history
   7. Optional: If you do not wish to have any search suggestions, uncheck the box next to Suggest popular searches
   8. Click OK
   9. Click OK
