Yes, it is sometimes called supper, but more often than not that's what I turn into after I've had my tea :)

In my area N.E.Scotland, it's dinner at 12 O'clock and the Supper at 5.00pm.  I always get strange looks when I forget and say we are having dinner in the evening.
My most common as muck thing is having a good old root around T.K.Maxx for bargains... I am hooked.
