Labour's candidate for Liverpool Wavertree is Londoner Luciana Berger, 28.

A couple of questions:

Does it matter that she has never heard of Bill Shankly; or that she can't name the captain of Everton; or is uncertain how many Mersey tunnels there are and cannot name who sang 'Ferry Across the Mersey.





And, in these days of personality politics, do you think that her obvious good looks will have any effect on how people vote.

Ricky Tomlinson is going to apply for the seat now, I think it should be a scouser who knows the people and the city,or is politics going in the direction of football and being taken over by strangers,
