Shame you can't use them. I hope you don't lose out due to Jet2's horrible terms and conditions.

There is a charge (£35 each way) to change the name as with all airlines BUT they also then charge the new person as if it was a new booking and the price is increased (never decreased) to the price that is applicable at the point of change. A friend of mine just got caught out with this when taking on someone else's seat to Berlin. He got stung big time.

Good luck  :)

didn't realise that when i read the terms of the booking otherwise I wouldn't have posted. Just another example of the Great British rip off culture that exists and is still evolving!!

Yes! Jet2 have gone right down my list of airlines to use after I found that out. My mate got ripped off for an extra £150 as the flight was full and the price had gone up accordingly. Stupid thing is it's cheaper to just book a new seat if there is one available and you save the £35 each way for changing the name.

Total rip off merchants like many other UK airlines these days.
