The police have apparantly got some new information regarding the other three. The police have had at least 5 phone calls but there are a lot of idiots out there. Lets hope that at least one of them is a genuine. It seems that this was the last chance that forensic evidence is going to be found to convict the others.

My guess is that the two that have gone down for this are gonna grass on the rest of the group especially as they are looking to increase their sentences, they will probably spill the beans to save themselves, its not actually guaranteed that the ones that have been sent to prison were the ones who stabbed Stephen, as far as Im concerned thay should spend the rest of their lives inside!

As a former officer in the Met it saddens me to think that a lot of this may have been prevented if the original investigation was carried out correctly. Thankfully we also have the added bonus of scientific evidence to prove cases now beyond doubt which obviously was not as advanced when the murder took place, however it does still seem incredulous that the legal justice system is so spiked in favour of the wrong doer than the victim. I appreciate a lot is to do with preventing miscarriage of justice but I could write a book on the cases and cases that get of because of technicalities and the sort which have nothing to do with the facts or real case, someone is clearly guilty of the crime and time and time again they get away with it through this burecratic red tape that is so intwined that even the governement cannot sort it out even if they wanted to. I really hope they throw whatever book they can against the lazy corrupt officers involved as I know a lot of officers are, were fed up being tarred with the same brush! One direct positive to come out of all this was the introduction of (PACE) Police & Criminal Evidence Act which governs the way cases are handled and recorded etc and this was as a direct consequence of the Stephen Lawrence murder.
