hi we always holiday 1st 2 weeks in may and last year was lovely, it did rain on carnival day but only for a few hours soon dried up, came home with a nice tan

diverbaz - yes you are right, slight senior moment there, it did rain for the last couple of days we were there last year, but out of the two weeks I can honestly say it didn't spoil our enjoyment.  Before then it had been hot (but not too hot) and sunny.  Maybe you just remember the carnival day when, unfortunately, it did rain.  Overall though, it was a lovely two weeks. :)

Hi lisa, yes would def bring something with you - cardi or wrap - to wear in the evenings.  It can still be quite warm early on but turns cool later at that time of year, especially if you like to sit outside to eat.
