My last Mother's day as just a Mother as my daughter is expecting a baby in June, I know I am far to young to be a Grannie (child bride) but I will cope.
Heather.  We used to stay at the Murrayshall in Scone when I was standing at the Scone Palace Antiques Fair.

Our daughter was going to get married up there but it fell through before I got the chance to go and check it out.  I believe it is a lovely setting. Heard good things about their lunches.  They have a variable reputation now.  I think the hygeine folk have had dealings with  them.

When we used to stay we stayed in one of the bungalows looking out to the golf course. The food in the Hotel was lovely and they had won lots of awards, it's a shame it seems to have gone downhill now.
I did read about it on Tripadvisor and was really surprised :o

I  think it was a blip but that is all it needs to ruin a reputation.

I will have to give it try
