My friend has just got his laptop back from from the shop after having Windows 7 installed but he now cant load his printer or web cam it keeps rejecting the disc any ideas to save going back to shop cheers eggheads.

You probably need a windows 7 driver/install disk for the printer Lance, his disk is probably the driver for Windows XP or similar. Go to whatever website his printer is from (Epson, HP, Lexmark etc) - choose support or downloads, find printer model number, choose operating system as Windows 7, download, double click, intallation will start  :)
