Ferry service was operating yesterday, they had a techincal problem prior to that hence the smoke lol

Despite a few false starts we had a wonderful 2 nights in Rhodes. No problems with customs on the way back, even though they now have a camera and question anyone with what looks like a really heavy bag! As we had stayed over are luggage was acceptable even though it was double the weight it was on the way out  8)

If anyone want any tips we shopping, restaurants, hotels etc. just let me know.  :)

That's why I make Mrs KKOB walk 10 yards behind me, I don't want to be seen with a heavy bag !  ;)

The Lydia Hotel is very good value and European standards .. it is not in the old town but is within easy walking distance .. in my opinion it is highly recommended .... just the bathrooms ...being greek .. let the standard slip but everything else comes highly recommended  8)

I know the best hotel in Rhodes, it's not cheap but it's fabulous.  I am selfish and like to keep it secret so I have emailed you.
