You're right about that driver. We were coming back from Fethiye on the 11.30pm bus and I stood up before the main set of lights at the Bombay Corner (previously the Dolphin Roundabout) and pressed the stop button. There were 9 in our party and there were about 12 people in total on his bus. My mother-in-law was experiencing her first trip to Turkey and she is quite unsteady on her feet, having had a recent hip replacement. (Another reason for using the bus service is the roominess of the bus.)
Well the driver had no intention of stopping across from the Oykun and took us all the way to the Calis Terminus at the end of the Beach.
Fortunately some Turkish ladies came onto the bus at the Terminus and passed on our reasons why we insisted on remaining on the bus for his return to Fethiye and getting off outside the Oykun Hotel. He was not pleased but the Turkish ladies made sure he stopped at the bus stop.
I am sure it was the same driver you mentioned,MrKeith.
