What a disappointment
« on: September 02, 2010, 11:53:31 AM »
Spotted some spicy lentil & tomato cup a soups in Sainsburys and was very excited.

Just made a cup, had my first sip, with Mercimek in my head, and it couldnt have been more disappointing.

Colour is familiar, but thats where any resemblance stops. Doesnt really taste of anything much.

:(

Probably needs a bit of salt and some chilli flakes in it.

We were looking at the house next door and the neighbours ran out and asked if we wanted to look at theirs as they were selling too. Quite an experience, people actually had beds in the same room as the groundsheet!
There were so many people in each room, and they kept asking why we didnt want to buy it.
I will never forget it,lovely people, nice house but we would never have got rid of the smell of the chillis!
