Face Book - Phone numbers. Important

EVERYONES PHONE NUMBER IS NOW ON FACEBOOK!! NO JOKE... Go to the top right of your screen, click Account then Edit Friends. Go to the left side of your screen and click Phonebook. Everyone's phone numbers are now being published. Please let your friends know this is happening so ............they can remove their number

As I understand it phone numbers are only listed if you have posted your number on your profile or have posted something via your mobile, you can prevent your mobile from publishing your number by adjusting the settings.

Yes I thought the same thing,you only put in your profile what you want the rest of the world to have access to,whats the shouting about?.

Because people don't realise  that mobiles automatically publish the number
