I am fairly sure that is incorrect. If the bi-annual meddling with the clocks is stopped it will be next March after they have been put forward an hour to British Summertime   This will maintain the 2 hour gap in summertime but we will only be one hour behind in winter unless Turkey changes as well

Evidently it would save lots of carbon emissions so maybe the green brigade will push this through. Personally it won't affect me much apart from when I go on holiday.
