Before everyone on here jumped on the press for filming the grieving parents, it might have been better if everyone had listened more carefully to the reporter. It was stated by the news team that, "the parents had requested that their visit to the scene be filmed", why, I don't know, but they actually did ask for it to be done.

On a different note, when our English neighbour was found, (by myself) brutally murdered, next door to us in Akarca, NOT ONE camera crew, or news reporter, attended the scene, neither at the time, nor anytime since!!
But, then again, lots to cover up, methinks. [:(!][:(!]

Acknowledging the subject category nothing to do with Turkey, and agreeing the british press can be very invasive, sometimes it is necessary to show these scenes- unlike some reporting in the local Turkish press back in October. I think it was the Sun Express bi-lingual paper who showed photographs of fatal car crash where a young couple died leaving their tiny baby, who was also in the car, ophaned. It depicted a mangled car and dead bodies strewn across the road. The very next publication of the same paper published pictures of a suicide, a 21 year old man hanged from a tree. It stated although the deceased had been named, his family had yet to be notified. These picture really upset and disturbed me for weeks.I couldnt imagine the grief, shock and horror of picking up a newspaper and finding pictures of your loved ones like that.
