sightseeing from Calis
« on: August 12, 2011, 21:52:46 PM »
We are visiting Calis late September for two weeks, we are in our 60's and do not wish to hire a car and wonder if there are any places of interest from the bus station in Fethiye.  We will be going on a couple of boat trips.  Is Dalaman worth a visit or anywhere say within one or two hours by bus.  Does anyone know if it is likely to be chilly at night in late Sep.

You will probably be asked to introduce yourselves in the New Members Introductions section, but in answer to your question this link might help

{A Link to an old CBF topic was here - no longer available}42130.

Don't think it's too chilly at night but it's all relative.

Enjoy your holiday :)

No. New members do not have to introduce themselves anymore, and haven't for some time. It is considered polite to do so on forums though. No point making people introduce themselves, it's just extra work. If people haven't introduced themselves and go on to be a pain, they get booted, pure and simple  :)

Not referring to luvturkey with any of that of course  ;)

I'd take a cardi for the evening as it can be a wee bit on the cool side.
There are lots of places you can visit on the dolmus or coach in the surrounding area.  Have a read through the forum for loads of reviews and recommendations.
Most of all, enjoy your holiday

I would take the trip to Dalyan and then the co-operative boat out to Iztuza Beach and probably stay over a night if possible.
