Next Calis Car Boot Sale Sunday 20 February

The next popular  Calis Car Boot Sale takes place on Sunday 20 February.

The sales organized by the Calis Children's Charity (formerly the Calis Carnival Fundraising Committee)  take place  in the car park next to the Bahar Hotel on Calis seafront and set up starts  at 7.00 am although sellers are advised to get there earlier if they want a place with their car in the main car park.  People without a car will be located as usual in the adjacent road between the car park and the Bahar Hotel..

A pitch (2 tables width) costs  15 TL but this includes  2 tables,  Charities will be provided with one pitch for free.

All proceeds raised from the committee stall goes to helping needy children in the local area.  Donations of unwanted goods for the committee stall are always welcome as our stock is now running very low. So is you are having a clear out, spring clean or simply have a few unwanted items please ring 0535 855 4919 or 0536 373 9520 and we can arrange to collect and you know that your donation will be helping to raise money for a good cause.  Thank you.

Just a reminder that it is the Calis Car Boot Sale tomorrow (Sunday).
Hopefully the weather will be kinder this month.

We are getting a lot of enquiries so we are expecting it to be busy.

The weather was kind this month thank goodness.  We made 357TL from sales on the committee stall (unfortunately our stock is really low at the moment so any donations of unwanted  bric a brac, books, clothes, small furniture will be gratefully received   thank you).

Added to the money raised from the stall hire fees once we had paid out for the hire of 200 tables for the event, we made a total of 1200TL which is enough to guarantee us funding one bursary to help a poor student attend university for the 2012 year.

For the last 3 years the 3C's charity has funded 10 bursaries each year to see 10 local students through university.
