All the prices were on the menu when we were there. Yes I agree a little more expensive but the food was oustanding. I had beef medallions, you get two medallions but one would have been plenty, so good. Then upstairs for a drink or few! ;-)

The new building of the Orient is a big improvement over the previous.
Very light,bright and tastefully decorated.
Food was exceptionally good and very well presented.
In the evenings the staff wear a smart casual uniform which adds to the overall improved appearance of the restaurant.
Prices were good.
Further to my earlier post I did make contact with Bekir.

Great food as always, but I think the place had more character before it was renovated.

If you want character you should've seen the Orient when the loos were the authentic Turkish stand up ones and the chickens on the spits were hosed down outside the loos:-\! The place had some character then!Looking forward to seeing the changes this time.:D
