We are travelling to Calis next week for a weeks stay at the Tugay Hotel.  What is the beach like at the moment, I've read mixed things on the forum, but those comments are all a couple of months old.
Do the loungers/umbrellas belong to the restaurants & bars & we use them on the understanding that we eat or drink there; or do they belong to the council?
Roll on next week!

but the sunlounger cushion belongs to the bars and you use their bar to get your drinks and use the loo

They are really friendly at the Tugay and the pool is lovely. There are lots of sunbeds around the pool, the food is reasonable and the place isn't crowded The cost for the sun loungers on the beach will shock you.

not if you go down to the Surf Club end of the beach where all the restaurants offer free beds
