The average price for Efes is 6tl A 3 couse meal will cost between 18 and 40tl depending on what you eat, many restaurants are doing set menus this year. A good steak main course is approx 30tl, chicken mains about 18tl so still good value in view of the exchange rate.

Somebody told me it is free Beer tomorrow, there was a sign up in a Bar in Calis!

Its a good question and one I used to ask but as there is such a variance of places to eat and drink in Calis/Fethiye it is hard to quantify. As I like a drink (well known about me!   :)) I always bring a couple of good bottles of Single Malt or get some good alchohol at Dalaman on the way in so I can have a decent reasonable priced "slug" before I go out in the evening --saves a lot -- and if there are more of you in a party over 18 so much the better! (once did a Villa Holiday in Menorca 12 of us, well stocked bar!)  But once out I have paid anything from 4ytl (rare) to 7 YTL (ouch) for Efes, and food from 25YTL to 75YTL for two of us -- depends what you eat and where like anywhere I guess. Wine is expensive and the finest vintage can be rated as pretty Cac if you have any Gaelic but after a big slug of whisly, 2 efes and a raki tashtes absholootly marvelluuush!

I will be there in 4 weeks -- hooray!

Best value for good, quality meals, served with smiles, (genuine), would have to be Gunisik Restaurant in Calis. Some call it " Frank Cannons".
Wide choice for a smallish place, but we love eating there !!  :P

A huge "special" pide, veg , mush, sausage and egg is 12 tl in Nefes Pide in Paspatour. Wine by the glass is also a good price unless you have more than 4 glasses. Then buy a bottle.

The two of us have one big pide, mixed salad and 4 (large) glasses of wine for less then 50 tl. This place is also open all year.
