With all the talk of troubles, bombings, terrorists, cancellations, are you going, are you not going, etc etc I thought I'd try and lighten the posts a little.

What is the ONE thing you look forward to most when planning your holiday? Or are you just a "get there and go with the flow" type of person?

For me (although not a big drinker) It's our first beer.....bought from the apartment bar and drunk on the balcony or terrace as soon as the present Mrs Pops has unpacked. (I'm not allowed to touch the packing/unpacking)

After that, I've become that "go with the flow" guy I mentioned earlier.

I do love my first walk around though to see what changes have occurred since my last visit

For me its a walk along the prom as soon after our arrival as possible. If we arrive late at night, then it's some food and beer at Gunisik, before bed.

With me, it's battle my way through customs, find my transfer, see the familiar sights en route, arrive, Efes. The rest can sort itself out later!
