Poor thing that ended up in that canal in Calis Tinx hope he managed to get back to sea!

http://www.arkive.org/giant-devilray/mobula-mobular/ says it is a related species.
http://www.wildanimalsonline.com/fish/mantaray.php says it is the Same fish (otherwise known as )
Wikipedia says a Manta Ray can grow up to 7.6 metres wide, and the Devil Ray some 5.2 metres.
So the answer is yes, I guess![?]
