Yes Ray, they are open in winter, as I said I was there yesterday & can confirm it is most definitely winter here, brrrr lol.

Rather than going all the way into Fethiye, if you get off just after the roundabout by the otogar & cross the road, you can catch the Kargi dolmus there. It's painted black on the front. Get off where the Kargi sign is crossed out ie the end of Kargi (there was a small workshop on the LHS) take the road to the right & where the road forks, take the LH fork
