Be very wary of its owner as he has a nastier bite than the camel ! Our neighbors wanted a photo of their daughter with the camel and the next thing they knew he had her mounted and off for a short ride followed by the demand for 35tl which worked out a lot dearer than calis taxis per mile !!!

Thank you Sonia for that piece of advice.
Although as much as Isla loves the camels and getting her photo took with them ... the chances of him getting her up there for a ride!!!??? She's a bit of a scardey cat my lassie!   :o
But we will heed the warning, thanks again.

Camel and owner seem to start at about 10 in the morning from the beach by the new Jiva Complex, next to the Sunset Beach Apartments, and wander along the beach up to the Mekan [Birlik] Restaurant, they rest up under the single tree left on the cleared area for what was,or is, going to be the 5 Star all inclusive complex behind the Surf Cafe.
You can't miss them, just follow the odour!
